Best Life Behavioral Health
& Wellness

Live your best life with options that best fit your mental health needs. We currently offer individual therapy sessions and a range of support groups.

Therapy Services

Our therapy services provide LGBTQ+ people with an affirming physical and emotional environment. Together, we'll work through everyday problems and stressors.

We do not currently provide group or family therapy sessions. If you're interested in these types of sessions, please let us know, and we may be able to recommend a provider for you.

Contact us for appointment availability at
(531) 466-1839 or info@omahaforus.org.

  • We host individual therapy appointments at the Omaha ForUs center in a comfortable, private room.

Our intake process will identify your unique needs. If a different provider is more appropriate for those needs, or we've reached appointment capacity, we may refer you to one of our trusted, local partners.

  • We are working to add insurance options for future appointments. At this time, self-pay options are available — contact us for more information at (531) 466-1839 or info@omahaforus.org.

Support Groups

Support groups offer LGBTQ+ participants a space to create connections and build hope. Currently, our mental health practitioner and a topic-related professional co-lead the groups.

We determine the frequency and topics of support groups based on participants’ interests and our facilitators’ capacity. We may offer more frequent meetings or expanded topics in the future.

Some support groups require registration, which is noted in their descriptions.

Find Support Now

We've created a toolkit with mental wellness and crisis resources for you and those you support. This does not replace professional mental health services, but it can serve as one of many tools when considering or waiting for these services.

If you or a loved one is in need of an emergency response, please call or text 988 for mental health- and suicide-related support.

Don’t forget, Omaha ForUs is more than the Best Life program — we have a clothing closet, food pantry and other events and services. Contact us or visit our center at 3337 N. 107th Street Tuesday through Friday for more information.
